Huffington Post/Rotner Claims Nobody is Innocent Until Proven Guilty
The draconian trashcan that is the Huffington Post recently published an article by some communist lapdog named Philip Rotner. In the article entitled Roy Moore Is Not Innocent Until Proven Guilty, Rotner actually makes the argument that the American principle of innocence until the proof of guilt is a false concept. Go read it so you have some background.
Rotner: I’m calling you out!
I read your article and I see in your author byline that you are an attorney. Your sniffling liberal diatribe on the assumed guilt of Roy Moore reads like a term paper of a struggling undergrad son of a crooked ambulance chaser. Listen, I want to make it clear that I have only a surface understanding of the Roy Moore case. I can’t keep up with the wave of bad touch articles and liberal media hit pieces that have been published in recent months. In all honesty, I don’t care if Moore is innocent or not, the fact of the matter remains that your article presents a very dangerous idea.
You have placed in the minds of your simple readers that they can justly assume the guilt of an individual based only on their flawed emotional barometer of truth. You knew what you were doing when you wrote this inane propaganda. To tell your readership that they no longer need withhold their opinion of an individual’s guilt until the facts are made clear is a highly irresponsible thing to do.
I understand that the decision of a court is by no means the ultimate statement on an individual’s guilt or innocence. Just look at the numerous examples of politicians and business criminals who have been left off or given a slap on the wrist for serious crimes. With that being said, the innocence of an individual must always be assumed until proof of guilt is provided. This is true both within and outside of the courtroom.
While I may only have a surface understanding of the Moore case, I recognize the insane amount of nonsense pumped out by the rabid, frothing at the mouth feminists and liberals in this country. I also recognize that it is in the best interest of the Democrats to lie, lie, lie, and lie some more in order to obtain a stronger political position.
Listen Rotner, if you want to write an article about the obvious guilt of Moore then by all means do so. If you want to challenge his viability as a professional policymaker then do so. There is absolutely no excuse for your attempt to undermine one of the most important philosophical concepts in American society. We are all innocent until proven guilty. It’s just that simple.
