Needless to say, there are some people who are lazy, or who mooch off of the system when they could work. But these people do not fall into that category. They are really trying.

The point of the film is that they’re not getting help from government, which is bent on finding some sort of pathway to “comprehensive” immigration reform. The truth is, however, that if Barack Obama and the Democrats would just get out of the way of the economy, things would improve dramatically for these people, and for the millions who have simply given up trying.
