Romney video: Obama’s broken energy promises

Posted: May 21, 2012 at 7:45 am   /   by

Barack Obama promised us all a great deal in 2008. He promised clean, affordable energy. He promised “green jobs.” He promised the moon and the stars. But all we got was expensive energy requiring massive subsidies, lost jobs, and crony capitalism. He sent taxpayer money to his friends and campaign donors, whose businesses failed. (How much of that taxpayer money was diverted right back to his campaign?) And now, he is deploying classic failed economic policies—tariffs, really?—to compound his failed energy policy. No, Mr. Obama, we are not the ones we have been waiting for.

Mitt Romney isn’t letting him get away with it.
