Video of Obama recycling 2011 speech verbatim in 2012 speech

This is actually quite striking. Obama has surrounded himself with a lot of mediocre players, so one might expect his speechwriters to phone it in—but to this degree? Using the same speech for the same issue—just recycled from 2011 to 2012—is pretty weak.

Something about the words didn’t start to seem really familiar to Obama after the first few lines?

Also, note that he stumbles over the same word (“disabilities”) in both speeches. That certainly adds to the weird deja vu effect.
